I &hearts A.P. Biology

Overall....My night is dead today because I will be up later than this time (probably an all nighter) so that I can finish a homework packet before it is due in Biology tomorrow. I already got about 2 hours of sleep (unintentionally) and I have my precious coffee to help keep me awake so that I can get better than an F on this test. WISH ME LUCK! I'm really tired and don't know if I'll make it tomorrow, but I can try.........

please pray!

One Long Day

I promised an update, but that's not will be given tonight.

Today has been a very long day. It started out great, but went downhill in the course of 1 period. Let's start from before the beginning....

This morning started at about 12:00 A.M. I was still up studying/doing homework to prepare for one of the longest days I've seen in a while. I fell asleep several times over the night while I was slaving away at my A.P. Biology. I ended up not finishing all of it.

Then I woke up at 5:00 and it was time to get ready for Jazz Choir. This was not a normal jazz choir though...today we had an action filed schedule for jazz. It started out as part testing on one of the harder songs we've ever sung which stressed out most of the choir. Then I was worried that my asking Krista to homecoming wasn't going to fit in to the period....it did, she said yes, and I'm PUMPED!So that was 0 hour. 1st was more of the same old 1st period.

Then starts the MADNESS.......

2nd period is A.P. Biology. I go in expecting to fail the test....I go out knowing I failed the test. To top that off...I didn't finish all my homework in that class, so I had to go in after school so that I could be able to turn in the whole packet on time.

3rd was Spanish....pretty much a break from the stress.

4th period was A.P. Calculus. It's new name for me is A.P. Flunkulus. I don't think I did too hot on that baby either. Calculus tests get to you mentally because there are so many things you can do wrong...so you overprotect yourself on them so that you end up hurting your test like I did. I made sure that I put ever detail in my work, and ended up not finishing 2 problems at the end and knowing that I messed up on one of the last problems because I talked to the genius Michelle who let me know what I missed and why/how I missed it. No fun.

5th period I got to learn how to become more Liberal again. I have nothing against most liberals, but when they try to recruit me (a pretty conservative guy) I just get a little perturbed. CWI might be the most liberal-biased class I ever have/will take. It was poop.

6th period I didn't read the assigned chapters the night before (too busy studying) and there was a test on the chapters we were supposed to read. I'll be lucky to get 0/5 on that test. Otherwise, a fun class.

Then I went to Cochran's class to finish my Biology, and then I headed off to the play practice. Which was fun to watch.

To end my wonderful day, I was told something that kinda changes everything I've ever been taught/told/knew and I still don't even know where to begin to deal with it. I'm going to go crazy!

Update after forever

So it's been a long time since I've written in my blog. I think some updatage is due. Even though that would be a wonderful thing, I have an A.P. Calculus test, A.P. Biology test, a lot of homework, and....well, something else to take care of tonight. I'll be a busy bee. So updates will have to wait for a later date. I still love you all.

Cancer

It's official. I hate cancer. I don't know why, but too many people are getting it nowadays. My third grade teacher died from it, Ellen Burns is beginning her 6th fight against it, and Travis Britt (a 17 year old I know) is now battling the stupid disease. No one deserves this. God works in such wonderous ways though. Dr. Jerimiah gave a great sermon on suffering this last Sunday. Basically he said that we'll all go through suffereing, but they'll be different for each of us and they'll come at different times. It's during these times that we become the weakest. As a result, we learn to rely on God all the way. This cancer stuff is really starting to get to me, and I'm praying for the best for both Travis and Ellen constantly. Please keep those two in your prayers as well.

I'll leave you with an amazing cancer song by Rascal Flatts that you should listen to as soon as possible.

Sara Beth is scared to death
To hear what the doctor will say
She hasn't been well, since the day that she fell
And the bruise just won't go away

So she sits and she waits with her mother and dad
And flips through an old magazine
Till the nurse with the smile stands in the door
And says will you please come with me

Sara Beth is scared to death
Cause the doctor just told her the news
Between the red cells and white, something's not right
But we're gonna take care of you

Six chances in ten, it won't come back again
With the therapy we're gonna try
It's just been approved, it's the strongest there is
And I think that we caught it in time
And Sara Beth closes her eyes.

Chorus:
And she dreams she's dancing
Around and around without any cares
And her very first love is holding her close
And a soft wind is blowing her hair

Sara Beth is scared to death
As she sits holding her mom
Cause it would be a mistake for someone to take
A bald headed girl to the prom

For just this morning, right here on her pillow
Was the cruelest of any surprise
And she cried when she gathered it all in her hands
The proof that she couldn't deny
And Sara Beth closes her eyes

Chorus:
And she dreams she's dancing
Around and around without any cares
And her very first love is holding her close
And a soft wind is blowing her hair

Bridge
It's quarter to seven, that boy's at the door
And her daddy ushers him in
And when he takes off his cap
They all start to cry
Cause this morning where his hair had all been
Softly she touches just skin

And they go dancing, around and around
Without any cares
And her very first true love is holding her close
And for a moment she isn't scared

Sick....

Moi finds a Mouse named Marcel. I find a bat named Dracula.

I looked in my washing machine, and there it was. A bat, hanging inside. That's sick. I actually touched it because I thought it was garbage from my shorts. Luckily, it stayed asleep, but when I looked closer, it definately had wings, toes, and a head. Now, it's still in there. I don't know what to do, but weight the whasher's door down, and wait for it to be taken care of. Really guys...it's sick.

Pissed Pretty Much summarizes It....

I officially hate (well not really), but dislike J. K. Rowling. Not only because she writes addicting books that make me stay up all night, but because I have to wait another freaking year for her new book to come out. She totally pulled one of those "GOTTA read the next book" endings on me and now...I have nothing to read. I can't wait to read the next one....this book was really...amazing. I got so lost in "harry world," or whatever you want to call it, that I read the second half of the book from the moment I got home (10ish yesterday) till about 20 minutes ago (6:15 A.M. ish) nonstop. I'm now depressed because of lack of sleep, anticipation for the release of her next book, and an overall depressing (but fantastic) story that I just read. Now I just need new books to read. Tell me the good ones if you got any suggestions.

Oh ya...I went there

I get an email from my friend. It says, "do you want to go to Harry Potter Midnight Madness?" I say HECK YES! I'm so glad I did too. I definately didn't buy a book, but I saw so many funny people...that I just about peed myself. There was one guy who asked me if I wanted to know who the half-blooded prince was. I said no. I had so many desires to do evil things there though...I mean I just wanted to cut people in line to piss them off, run around half naked, yell who the "half-blooded prince" was, or just take one of the boxes they were taking to the front and run for the door (throwing books at people as I went). Needless to say, Mark, his sister and I had a really fun time laughing at people in the Borders Bookstore. By the way, there was a guy that had been there since 3 PM...and the line for the book wrapped around the whole borders store. A book is not worth it.

I've always wanted to use the "asian-tourist" pose! I'm happy with the results.
