Sick....

Moi finds a Mouse named Marcel. I find a bat named Dracula.

I looked in my washing machine, and there it was. A bat, hanging inside. That's sick. I actually touched it because I thought it was garbage from my shorts. Luckily, it stayed asleep, but when I looked closer, it definately had wings, toes, and a head. Now, it's still in there. I don't know what to do, but weight the whasher's door down, and wait for it to be taken care of. Really guys...it's sick.

Pissed Pretty Much summarizes It....

I officially hate (well not really), but dislike J. K. Rowling. Not only because she writes addicting books that make me stay up all night, but because I have to wait another freaking year for her new book to come out. She totally pulled one of those "GOTTA read the next book" endings on me and now...I have nothing to read. I can't wait to read the next one....this book was really...amazing. I got so lost in "harry world," or whatever you want to call it, that I read the second half of the book from the moment I got home (10ish yesterday) till about 20 minutes ago (6:15 A.M. ish) nonstop. I'm now depressed because of lack of sleep, anticipation for the release of her next book, and an overall depressing (but fantastic) story that I just read. Now I just need new books to read. Tell me the good ones if you got any suggestions.

Oh ya...I went there

I get an email from my friend. It says, "do you want to go to Harry Potter Midnight Madness?" I say HECK YES! I'm so glad I did too. I definately didn't buy a book, but I saw so many funny people...that I just about peed myself. There was one guy who asked me if I wanted to know who the half-blooded prince was. I said no. I had so many desires to do evil things there though...I mean I just wanted to cut people in line to piss them off, run around half naked, yell who the "half-blooded prince" was, or just take one of the boxes they were taking to the front and run for the door (throwing books at people as I went). Needless to say, Mark, his sister and I had a really fun time laughing at people in the Borders Bookstore. By the way, there was a guy that had been there since 3 PM...and the line for the book wrapped around the whole borders store. A book is not worth it.

I've always wanted to use the "asian-tourist" pose! I'm happy with the results.

What I Learned In Spokane

That title makes it look like I'm writing a school paper. This isn't true at all. For all the curious, I think I should write an overview of what I learned and what happened on the mission trip to Spokane. It was quite the week of self-growth and team unity. I couldn't be happier with the results of the week. So I'll tell you all the three main things that I got from the trip or happened on the trip.

1)An AMAZING team of people!
I was blessed BIIG TIME by being placed in my mission group. We bonded waay too well. Now, we're like a big family with FAR too many inside jokes and hobbies. From sweating competitions to frolfing at 6 in the morning....we had many experiences that brought us extremely close. On Monday, we had a huge open up night where we listened to "Come to Jesus" by Chris Rice. After listening to that we said where in the song we were (it explains the walk of a christian) with God. SUPRISE! We were all basically in the same spot, with different circumstances in each case. AMAZING GROUP!

2) Prayer.
I said something rather inappropriate about this topic the night we got back. I made a reference to Pastor Tom Ramsey's long prayers. Some took it the wrong way, but I love the guy, and if you listened to what I said, it was more of a compliment. The people at City Gate (where we worked) made us come to the City Gate 30 min. early to pray...the whole time. It was amazing though because God responded to our prayers and I learned how to pray much more genuinely there.

3)Meeting Homeless/Poor people.
God showed himself in many different ways to me while I was talking to the people I served at the City Gate. He helped me get in touch with a woman who was going through a relationship where her boyfriend was unfaithful. There are so many stories...just ask and I'll tell you them!

I LOVED THE MISSION TRIP!
