Prelude
Background(skip if you get bored easily)
Missoula Children's Theater camp is an internationally recognized camp for preforming arts. Every year, about 200 Junior High/Highschoolers travel from around the world to go to MCT in Missoula, Montana. In order to get into the camp you need to send in tapes or go to Missoula for an audition. The audition consists of doing a monolouge and singing a song. So ya...you have to be at least kinda good at what your doing to go. Ya...so that's that.
How I ended up at MCT
I did a few shows with MCT when they traveled to Glenridge Elementary and that's how they found me. They had invited me once and I didn't think much of it, so I went on with my life. Then my friend Michael came back from camp and said it was so awsome that I shoulda gone. Needless to say, i felt dumb. So I was excited to find I was invited again, but I knew I probably wouldn't be able to go since I'm what one would call...poor. So Michael kept on telling me how awsome camp is and trying to convince me that I should go this year. I felt like crap like every time he would say things like this because I knew I couldn't afford to go, but I guess he understood. So this is all while Oklahoma is going on so it's really appealing since I was doing the whole acting thing. At the cast party for Oklahoma Michael was such an amazing friend and raised half of the price for going to camp (which isn't cheap). So, since I have such awsome friends and I could go, I sent in my audition...and here I am...the week after having one of the best times of my life.
This is the end of the Prelude of my "book" so there. Til next time, you can get addicted to a favorite pair of jeans.
