Wouldn't this be weird? (don't think I'm a nutcase cuz of this entry)

Well, it's...today! Sunday. Uhhh, I really haven't done too much today. I went to church which was fun to see everyone again. Then I came home, and did some...stuff and then I cleaned my room and mowed the lawn. But the reason for this blog entry is because I have a question that's been bothering me for a while. Say you were blind from birth. What would you see? Like I know they don't see anything, but I see black when I close my eyes...is that what they "see"? And what do they think of when someone says there's oh say...clouds. What do you tell them. They look fluffy and white? They don't know what fluffy or white look like. I did come up with a plan to share colors with blind people.

(STOP READING NOW IF YOU ALREADY THINK I'M WEIRD)

Ok so here we go. For blue: I would have them listen to a river or just something with water. I would have them feel cold water, and smooth stones. I would have them taste chocolate ice cream, and warm blueberry pie. Basically I'd tell them that the overall impression blue gives a person (or atleast me) is cool and relaxing but bold and rich (not wealthy rich). For purple...I'd just tell them blue...only really girly. Green: I'd have them feel natural stuff. Smell flowers, trees grass. Eat salad and a bunch of mild vegetables. I'd have them listen to wildlife...like in a forest. For yellow: ahhhh...i dunno...you guys just write me and tell me, if you want to, what you'd do for the rest...besides red...red's easy. Yes...I have gone crazy...you don't have to tell me. But I can't get over what it would be like not to be able to see God's creations. I just want a way to be able to portray the beauty of the world to people who are blind. If you know a blind person... be curious and ask if you can ask questions about what they think of when someone says a word like car or tree...whatever...I just want to know what it's like...it's so hard to grasp. Until next time, people running into things, or falling down can be quite entertaining to watch...or even hear about.
